Behind the Team

Interview with Craig Horner We always focus on the players that make our teams, but behind the scenes are a group of hardworking individuals that make the club tick. Today we caught up with the 1st Team Physio Craig Horner about his first season with the club. Q. Thanks for joining us for a chat Craig, you joined the club last summer during pre-season, what made you get involved? CH. I was recommended to Luke (Forgione) and the team after I had completed my level 4 Sports Therapy Course. I love to challenge myself and progress in as many areas in my profession as possible, and football was an opportunity I couldn't pass. Q. What have you enjoyed about working with Luke and the

New Signing – Catch up with Fudge

Following today's signing off Jack Bennett we caught up with the Briggers boss Luke Forgione. "We are really pleased to get this signing over the line. Having lost two attacking threats recently in Luke Francis and Jordan Kershaw Dearne & District FC) and the suspensions of Alex Hutchinson and Harley Holt, we felt we needed to add some firepower to our squad and take the burden away from Mike Jepps who has been our main goal threat all season. Jack is another one with huge potential and an eye for a goal and has loads of pace. We feel that we have now built a team that has some of the most exciting young talent in the area. As a club we

Worsbrough bridge Ladies 3-0 Wickersley

+3 points! Today saw us get our first win, and first 3 points after a difficult start to the season. From the outset, we were determined to get the win, especially given last night’s announcement. We hosted an evenly matched Wickersely side who already had 1 point on the board coming into the game. We played excellently throughout, working hard for each other and fulfilling our individual roles well. The first half saw us take charge of the game, and despite missing a few chances, we finished 1-0 up through Lucy Tindle, with some work to do to secure the win. We started the second half the same as we finished the first, having lots of possession and putting pressure on our opponents. The
