Goals from Joe Dungworth, Ben Donoghue, Alfie Dodsworth and Alex Hutchinson secured a well deserved 3rd consecutive win away at Teversal FC.2 goals in either half did the job for the Briggers in a disciplined performance and moved the team to 28 points after 14 league games.
We caught up with The gaffer after today’s victory
It’s great to get another 3 points on the board in a game which is always has the potential to be a banana skin. Before we discussed about doing the right things, being professional, starting well and we was really pleased that we started off well after last week. A dominant 20 minutes which saw us 2-0 up could easily of been more. Teversal then grew into it and had a bit of control without really creating much with us having the better end to the half. Disappointing half time to be 2-0 but happy to be in a good position we once again reiterated about being patient moving the ball gaining more control and the goals help with that. All in all, a good win on the road to a team we are expected to beat but still have too, so a pleasing day, onto the next on Friday. Fingers crossed there is a big crowd!
