I am sure that by now you will be aware that today our NCEL season was suspended and will be reviewed again on the 13 January 2021. We, along with many other clubs are frustrated by a further suspension but we understand the leagues decision. They are damned if they do and damned if they don't and we just have to appreciate how difficult it is for everyone connected with Grassroots football at this present time. At a high level we want to make sure everyone is aware that our club will survive this, however we wouldn’t have done so if it had not been for everyone’s support, our sponsors and the fantastic efforts of our fans. We appreciate the efforts

We need your help, Briggers Fans!
With the current situation regarding Coronavirus and the suspension of the NCEL, Worksop Van Hire U21's League, Northern Alliance U19's League, Sheffield Junior League and Sheffield Womens & Girls League the club will be losing the major part of its income from matchdays. However, the expenses continue and the bills still have to be paid. So this is going to be a very challenging time for Worsbrough Bridge Athletic, but you can help! It would be great if you could help to support the club through this period by making a donation to our Just Giving Page below. https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/securethebriggersfuture If you can donate your usual £5 or £3 gate fee or even your £1.20 for a cup of tea it will all help
Message from the Chairman
Sadly due to the outbreak of Cornonavirus we are left in the position where we have to respect the advice and guidance of the government and football authorities and confirm that all footballing activities for every adult and junior team associated with Worsbrough Bridge AFC are suspended with immediate effect and until further notice. I fully appreciate that for many this is frustrating after an already difficult season with heavy rain and flooding but this is an unprecedented situation and one in which we need to try to protect the health and wellbeing of all managers, coaches, players, supporters and volunteers. We will continue to stay in touch with you all through our website, Twitter and Facebook pages or over the
Time to Reflect…….
With Coronavirus now impacting the club's fixtures and after 2 severe floods this season we just wanted to reflect on what overall has been a positive campaign to date and to ask supporters to come back and support us in the final few weeks of the season when the suspension is lifted. • 1st team reaching the Semi-Final of the Sheffield Senior Cup.• Match day attendances up by more than 50% from last season.• Fantastic financial backing from sponsors old and new.• Brand new U21s team in the Worksop Van Hire Development league sitting 2nd and still in the latter stages of the cup.• U19s top of the Northern Alliance League with a set off new exciting young players for the
Briggers XI to play Sheffield & Hallamshire CFA U18’s
We are pleased to announce that on Tuesday 10 March we have been asked to host a game against Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA U18's at The Pinto Property Stadium. The Worsbrough Bridge AFC XI will consist of players from our U17's U19's and U21's teams who are all 18 years old or younger. It is a great opportunity for the players to play against a County FA team who are currently top of their Northern Counties League having won all their games so far and look certain to qualify for the North v West Counties Play-Off. We are delighted to have been approached to host the game and it highlights the work that we as a club and the managers of the

Community Day – Pay What You Want ! – Saturday 1 February 2020
Worsbrough Bridge AFC v Hallam FC - Pay What You Want ! We made a commitment that after last years game against Hallam FC was abandoned due to floodlight failure that we would make the re-arranged game a "Pay What You Want fixture". Hallam FC are always well supported and we want to recognise all supporters that attended the original fixture. The game is usually well attended in what is always a highly competitive fixture, and as a community club we want to give something back to all those that paid out last time and failed to see a result. Our home attendances have risen by nearly 50% this season so we also want to reward our own supporters who have invested heavily
