New Defibrillator for Worsbrough

New Defibrillator for Worsbrough

We are pleased to announce that Worsbrough Bridge AFC have joined forces with the friends and family of Les Pinder to provide a Defibrillator and secure case for the Worsbrough Community.

Following the recent sad passing of Les, the family approached the football club to install this facility at our ground The Pinto Property Stadium at the Worsbrough Sports and Development Association on Park Road.

The Pinder family have been long time supporters of the football club and we were more than happy to support the request to provide a secure defibrillator for use by the local community. Worsbrough Bridge AFC will donate their club defibrillator with the family and friends donating for the Defibrillator case.

We hope that this lifesaving equipment will make the streets safer for all as well as support the sporting sections, hall users and visitors to the newly refurbished Miners Welfare and Briggers Bar.

Worsbrough Bridge AFC want to thank the Pinder Family for approaching the club with the idea and for their donations and we also want to thank Worsbrough Sports and Development Association for their support in installing the defibrillator at their premises.

The new defibrillator will be installed in the coming weeks and added to the National Defib Register and once in place we will be sharing this with our community partners to raise awareness of this great community facility.
