We are pleased to confirm the signing of Luke Danville from Hemsworth MWFC on a short term loan.

Luke has vast experience, is a natural leader and will be fantastic for the changing room and help to guide our younger players on the field in difficult periods. The opportunity to take Luke was a no brainer, even on a short term loan basis.

Briggers boss Luke Forgione is naturally pleased, “Whether it is a short term or long term agreement I am sure that Luke will will have a positive impact, giving and sharing his insight and experience in Non League Football and is another voice in the changing room. Everyone knows what he can do on the pitch, but it is the other things that comes with him that makes it a great signing for us.

We want to thank Shane Kelsey and Hemsworth MWFC for their support with the agreement and in the speed that the deal has been completed. We also want to thank Luke for believing that Worsbrough Bridge AFC is the right place for him to play his football.
