South Yorkshire’s Friendliest Club!

South Yorkshire’s Friendliest Club!

The Sheffield Football website held their 2020 awards last night and the Briggers bagged a gong!

The winners of this award have some of the most approachable people we’ve ever met. The staff at this club could not do more for you and provide all fans with a wonderful welcome to their club. They also recently provided meals for school children struggling during the pandemic.” said the host in the run up to the award.

A visit to the Pinto property stadium is always such an enjoyable experience win, lose or draw and there are many reasons for this. The reason which really stands out for Sheffieldfootball.com is the excellent welcome you receive at this club. From the staff on the door, at the food hatch, right through to the chairman at Worsbrough you will find the most approachable people in non-league. During the pandemic Worsbrough Bridge further showed incredible kindness to their community by organising free school lunches to the children in the local community who needed it the most. Their online presence too is incredibly approachable, and Worsbrough Bridge possess a great desire to work with people in and outside of their community. This is incredible to see and the club are rightly proud of their team of volunteers who make them the Friendliest club of the year!

Club chairman Mark Booth told us that the award “means a lot and is great recognition for the clubs small band of dedicated volunteers

Well done to all the volunteers that help run this club.
