It has been a busy few days since our game away at Retford FC and I would like to welcome Mike Jepps and Owen Fieldsend to the club.

Mike has been playing in the Senior Nottinghamshire Premier League for Bingham Town FC and has an impressive goalscoring record. Whatever the level, if someone knows how to put the ball in the back of the net you have to take notice, and his stats for the last few seasons shows he know how to hit the net. Although he has never played at this level, Mike is experienced and an all round athlete and someone we looking forward to seeing in the red shirt soon.

Owen is another experienced player who has had a taste of NCEL a few times and for whatever reason it has not worked out for him. Hopefully we can give him an opportunity to prove his worth, he is a player I have seen quite a few times and is a no nonsense defender with a eye for goal. Playing for Swinton Athletic he has had success and has a winning mentality.

It is well known that we have some fantastic young talent at the club who we believe will play higher in the future. With a little bit of support and guidance on the field we believe it will allow these lads the opportunity to keep developing and with experience around them we feel it will help us to come out on the right side of the result.
