Tonight the 23rd of september Worsbrough Bridge u17 team won 5-0 against Ecclesall Rangers goals from James Haigh, Eliot Howarth who scored a worldie from 35 yards,Thomas Wheater,Connor Young and special mention to Lewis Wainwright who scored his first goal for the club confirmed victory and they will face last years finalists Abbey Lane in the next round.

I spoke to Manager Stuart who had this to say when i asked how his side felt about playing at the Pinto property Stadium

the boys loved it, we played a cup game there last year and got hammered so it erased that memory.

Hopefully this will be a good start to there league campaign and we maybe seeing future Worsbrough first team players in the not so distant future
