I recently sat down with current u13 league champions manager Jason and spoke about there achievement

we started the season with the aim of continuing our unbeaten run at home and gaining promotion as we had done in previous seasons when the season was called to halt we hadn’t lost a game all season and our record at home now stands without a loss for 3 seasons.

Jason believes this amazing achievement is all down to one thing

its all down to teamwork we have a great coaching team which includes Jack Whitehouse,Sean Crowcroft and myself and the teamwork of the players themselves there a great bunch of lads.

Jason also believes that playing for a team like Worsbrough is better than joining a bigger club

we have had a couple of players that have been looked at by bigger clubs but we aim to continue to aim for promotion which in a couple of years will enable these lads to join the 17’s 18’s the u21’s and then potentially the first team

I then asked Jason what would you say to a family that have young kids who are interested in playing football to bring them to a team like worsbrough?

All the teams including the first team play down at the pinto property stadium its a great place to play football and creates a great atmosphere and its great for family’s the club wants to get children down to watch first team and build on that community base
