Interview with Liam Graham

Interview with Liam Graham

As its my first interview I sat down with the returning Liam to find out more about him and how he felt about coming back to the Pinto Property stadium:

Welcome back to Worsbrough can you tell me how long you were previously at the club ?

I think I signed in February 2018 from Parkgate played the rest of the season in the relegation battle. Started the next season and played for a month or so before going away on holiday for most of the winter. Think I played 1 game away at East Hull when I got back at end of Jan 2019.

When you heard the gaffer (Lee Morris) was interested in getting you back, how easy of a decision was it ?

I didn’t play Saturday football last year, I’d just moved into my first house and have a lot of work commitments. I missed playing so when Moz text me saying he wanted me to get back involved I was always going to come back and play when I can. Luckily he understands my work and availability.

For those of us who dont know much about you – can you tell us your strengths?

Jesus, ive been playing since I was 5 & I’m still trying to figure them out mate. I think Moz just missed me in the dressing room to be honest. When he first signed me he just wanted some one to head it & kick it for 90 minutes, which paid off in the end.

What are your ambitions for the upcoming campaign?

Be nice to win promotion so Boothy & Moz can pay for all lads to go Maga or something at end of season. Wouldn’t mind a run in the FA Vase

Many thanks to Liam for sitting down and talking to me I wish him all the best for the season ahead.
