We are pleased to announce that starting from this pre-season we will play our Barnsley neighbours Athersley Recreation FC in an annual game for the NHS Cup.

The game has been agreed by both managers, Lee Morris and Shane Kelsey and endorsed by both clubs committees.

Both clubs want to recognise the fantastic work the NHS do in our communities and have a lasting legacy in what has been a difficult year with the outbreak of COVID-19.

The matches will be played at The Pinto Property Stadium and Sheerien Park on alternate seasons and will be a great way to fundraise and also to give both sets of players the chance of local bragging rights for a fantastic cause before the start of a new league campaign.
